This variant features a 42 mm stainless steel case crafted for robustness and everyday comfort. Its matte black dial provides strong legibility, complemented by a unidirectional bezel and 600-meter water-resistance — hallmarks of the Planet Ocean dive heritage. The rubber strap offers a more relaxed, sport-focused aesthetic compared to a metal bracelet, making it well-suited for active lifestyles or casual wear.
Underneath, the watch is powered by a Master Chronometer-certified automatic movement, delivering high precision, strong resistance to magnetic fields and a practical power reserve. The mechanical architecture, including features like a silicon balance spring, positions the timepiece as a serious instrument built for reliable performance. These mechanical attributes reinforce the professional foundations of the name while ensuring long-term usability.
On the wrist, the reference 217.32.42.21.01.003 balances dive-tool presence with refined styling. The combination of a comfortable rubber strap and a well-proportioned 42 mm case suits diverse settings — from the boardroom to the outdoors. For someone seeking a mechanical diver’s watch with solid credentials and versatile wearability, this model delivers a strong mix of functionality and everyday adaptability.
