The Chronomat Automatic GMT 40 is Breitling’s tribute to travel, not only for its dual time zone display, but also because of its easygoing aesthetics. Subtle dial colors, combined with an all-steel case and bracelet, work with any wardrobe. Meanwhile, the tone-on-tone 24-hour scale lets the red GMT hand speak for itself. The Breitling Caliber 32 powers the GMT complication. Its 24-hour scale lets the user track a second time zone and know at a glance whether it’s day or night, while the “onion” crown (a classic Chronomat feature named for its fluted-dome shape) allows for easy adjustments. As an all-purpose sports watch, meant to cross over between Breitling’s air, land and sea universes, the GMT 40 has an impressive 200m water resistance. Your Breitling watch or chronograph equipped with a non-Breitling mechanical movement is warranted against any manufacturing defect for a period of two years (“Breitling International Warranty”) from the date of purchase of the watch (“Warranty Period”) in accordance with these terms and conditions.
Mechanical Manufacture Breitling Movements - 5 Years
Watches or chronographs equipped with a Breitling Manufacture mechanical movement are covered by the Breitling International Warranty with an extended warranty period of 5 (five) years (“Breitling International Manufacture Movement Warranty”). The Breitling International Manufacture Movement Warranty covers any manufacturing defect in the Breitling mechanical movement, provided that water-resistance tests are carried out every two years from the date of purchase.
