For more than 30 years, Golden Tree Jewellers has welcomed the community into one of our most beloved traditions — a celebration that begins before sunrise on December 26th and continues to grow year after year. What started as a small in-store event has evolved into a milestone day for many families across Langley and beyond: the annual Boxing Day Ring Sale.

A Legacy Rooted in Gratitude

Founded over three decades ago, Golden Tree Jewellers has always been built on connection — to craftsmanship, to community, and to the generations who continue to walk through our doors. As the years passed, the Bhindi family noticed a shared ritual among jewellery lovers: returning to GTJ each Boxing Day not just for the deals, but for the joy, excitement, and sense of togetherness.

From that spirit, the Boxing Day Ring was born.

Each year, our goldsmiths and designers create a new, unique ring — available for one day only, not a day sooner and not a day later. Every design is produced in limited quantities and offered at a truly exceptional price, as our way of thanking the community that has supported us for over 30 years.

The Community Behind the Tradition

Ask any long-time Boxing Day client, and they’ll tell you: it’s more than a ring.

Some families have been joining the lineup outside our doors for over a decade — bundled in warm clothing, coffees in hand, laughing with our staff before the sun comes up. Many arrive at 7am, three full hours before we invite clients inside at 10am. What makes the tradition even more special is that many clients now purchase the Boxing Day Ring for their siblings, daughters, granddaughters, and even future generations, reinforcing its legacy as a symbol of family, celebration, and memory-making.

One of the most exciting parts of the Boxing Day tradition is the surprise element — the design is never repeated and is kept strictly under wraps until reveal day (typically December 22nd; mark your calendar!)

Each year features:

Now Available Online — Same Tradition, Same Rules

While the community atmosphere of the in-store event remains unmatched, we’re proud to now offer the Boxing Day Ring Sale online, allowing clients across Canada to join in this once-a-year celebration.

The online release follows the same GTJ tradition: available for order one day only, December 26th, and once the clock strikes midnight, the ring is no longer available.

However, our in-store clients enjoy a meaningful advantage: first access to limited stock, and the full Golden Tree Jewellers Boxing Day atmosphere.

Online orders will ship in late January, as well as special orders made in-store once initial stock is sold out, making early arrival in-store the best option for those determined to secure their ring right away.
